You need to be strong. Plain and simple. You’re not strong enough. You should pick up heavy things often. Like, really heavy things. I’ve been around for a hot minute. I started training in 2003. You do the math. I can train anyone. I’ve had clients with one arm. I’ve trained many clients with disabilities. I’ve had clients that were older than your grandmother. I made an 82 year old man deadlift because it’s functional. No matter how old you are you need to pick sh*t up. My youngest client is not even a teenager yet. Listen, I don’t care how old you are. We’re all athletes. We didn’t survive this long as a species by accident.
I’m not fancy. I don’t do things because they look fun. If it’s a trend, I hate it. Push, pull, squat, lunge, twist…it’s pretty simple really.
I’m not famous. I don’t have a huge following on IG. I don’t care about that. Neither should you. I’m not cheap. I don’t give discounts. If my mom trained with me she would pay full price.
Just because you want to train with me doesn’t mean I want to train you. I don’t train everyone. I’m picky. You should be, too.
It’s like applying for a job. You’ll interview. Then you’ll work really f*ckin’ hard.
Sound fun? It shouldn’t.
This isn’t supposed to be fun. If that’s what you’re looking for, Jazzercise is across the street.
